What is an offering?
An offering is the public item a customer can view or book. It can represent an event, appointment, service, class, tour, or another configured bookable item.
What is the difference between DayTidy Free and DayTidy Pro?
DayTidy Free provides the required booking foundation. DayTidy Pro builds on it with licensed advanced commercial, automation, reporting, display, and operational workflows.
Can I use DayTidy for appointments?
Yes. Appointment-style offerings can use services, schedules, capacity rules, buffers, and resources such as staff, rooms, or equipment.
Can I use DayTidy for events and classes?
Yes. Event and class workflows can use one-time or recurring dates, ticket options, hosts, locations, participant details, and booking forms.
Can customers manage their bookings?
DayTidy Free includes a customer portal workflow for customer booking access and cancellation. The DayTidy Pro frontend dashboard is a separate workflow for trusted users managing offerings and resources.
Which payments does DayTidy support?
DayTidy documents WooCommerce Cart, Free, on-site payment, wire transfer, Stripe, and PayPal Standard paths. Online payment workflows require DayTidy Pro and valid gateway configuration.
Can DayTidy connect with calendars?
DayTidy provides signed ICS subscription feeds for all bookings, individual offerings, and resources. Compatible calendar clients can subscribe to the appropriate feed.
Does DayTidy Pro replace DayTidy Free?
No. DayTidy Pro requires DayTidy Free to be installed and active. The intended paid installation uses the Free package and the Pro package together.
